K so I have been stressing on this for awhile and I am having trouble making a bootable usb flashdrive. 

I am trying to mount a winxp version, but to no avail. 

 

Anyone know how to do this correctly or have some good sites on how?

 

I have the .iso image file for windows ready to go and a 8gb flashdrive.

Using disk utility with the flashdrive in, format the drive (if necessary make a 99% partition and have it format that) then install the OS like you would on a normal hard drive. WHen you start up the PC with it plugged in hold down the keys to select which drive to load from (can't remember what they are off the top of my head givin my long stay in mac land). That should work just fine.

hm, ok I will give it a try. All these websites keep saying to use all these different programs so this gets confusing.

if that doesn't work try http://www.pendrivel...-easy-as-1-2-3/ and if you still cant get it to work just message me and i can send you a thumb drive that's all set and ready to go

Ugh... I just can't get it done. I'm fuckin' dumb. Can you send me one ready to go d00d? I'll swap a thumb drive with you. I got plenty of 4g drives. If you don't mind, let me know and I will PM you my new addy. Thanx Lord.
