I hope that youve been taking belly profile pictures every day so that you can splice them together into a video and set it to some hipster song.

Id like to see one of those videos set to an awesome song like enter sandman or some shit like that. Be like - "no im not gestating a delightful little princess this time. This is actually the antichrist. Prostate in front of my swollen womb."

i m not into belly pics. i guess i m not enamored with the idea of being pregnant. not particularly magical to me. i m happy to be over the first trimester discomforts (nausea, boob pains), i just have the lower back strain when sleeping, and leg swelling if i'm on my feet for long periods. i dont really care to remember this time. i m half way thru hoping to be done with it but theres still so much more to prepare. and the actual giving birth part is daunting.

first trimester was the worst for Kim. Second trimester wasn't as bad. I think it has something to do with the hormones making you all happy in the second tri or something. All I know is that Kim was a BEAR in the first. If Kim actually does get pregnant again I might not bother coming home from work for a few months.

I also thought that the first 6 months after birth were pretty stupid. I mean it's cool to have a baby to show off and take pictures of but they pretty much don't do anything except for cause you to sleep less and work more.
Once they start doing stuff other than just puke and cry and shit an sleep, then they start to become magic.

I mean ultimately it's like most things in life - it will be whatever you make of it. Some people seem to resent their kid. That I don't get. Maybe they act like the kid is too much of a hassle to parent.

Well let me put it this way:
I take Ally with me to the allergy doctor every Thursday. I have to sit there for 30 minutes after my shots so that they can make sure I'm not going into anaphylactic shock. While I'm there I feed her snacks, read car magazines with her (she likes the Dodge Challenger) and do letters with her.
Other parents bring their kids and maybe shove a gameboy in their hands. Maybe ignore them while their kids make messes.
I think they're all a bunch of fuckups. You're stuck in a doctors office with your kid - you ought to be interacting. Teach them, play with them, talk to them, joke on them, do something other than play angry birds on your smartphone for christs sake.

I mean I know you got work to do but so do I. I do my work at work. When I have a chance to play with my kid I take it.

oh and p.s. buy some of those pregnancy pillows if you haven't already. You're probably going to need a bunch of different sizes too.

i went cheaper and got 2 pillows on sale at target a while back. i place them in different positions every night.
i can't imagine much of how things will be after it's born, i m just gonna wait and see. i know it's a hella lot of work and i'll just have to figure it out as i go.

I know I'm going to jinx it by saying this but Ally has never thrown up. Best of luck on that count cause the pukin' grosses me out.

Say what? Puking during labor? You mean you puke? I hope your kid doesn't puke while being born. That would add to an already gross moment.

in the books and stuff they mention that labor can bring on nausea and some women puke. thats y they say dont eat or drink during labor
