Match 1 - I played Terran vs. Protoss.
The protoss player wasn't any hot shakes - all he did was double gate, mass a few zealots and a few immortals and attack. Not a particularly salty strat to turn back.
But I was playing games. My reaper mineral harass was quickly shot down (bad luck - i jumped up right into a few of his immortals) and I misread his slow build-up as permission to build a viking force. His Zealots and Immortals wiped me off the map.
Match 2 - I played Terran vs. Terran.
Embarrassingly easy win for me. I didn't want to get caught with my pants down so I just massed marauders and a-moved against him.
He was teching to hellions for some strange reason and neither his hellions nor the few marines he had on hand were capable to handle marauders. I cut through his base like a hot knife through butter.
Observations.
Zealots are better than they used to be. They're a great foundation unit with usefulness at any stage in the game. As long as you keep upgrading them and acquire the charge ability that is.
Marauders are sick. The slowdown ability coupled with relatively good defense and attack power makes them a fantastic early game unit for the Terrans.
Vikings suck in their ground assault mode. Even though they're technically capable of attacking ground it's better to treat them as an air unit in most situations.
Siege tanks are less useful. You can't build your first until after you've added a tech lab to the factory, the damage is down and the added mobility of their natural counters means they blow up quick. They ARE slightly upgraded in their tank form but it's hard to justify siege tanks when Marauders fill a similar niche at a lower tech level. No longer a staple of the Terran army.

Try straight up marine, marauder, and medic dropships. They still seem way too good. Obvious counters would be psionic storm and the new version of zerg plug, but you are massing cheap units that will win through attrition. You can also throw in other stuff for support.
