I like the musical influences that are commonly cited when talking about her. I'm particularly into Queen but I never would've put Lady Gaga together with Radio Gaga. Brilliant.
Bowie ain't bad neither.
I like that she is so willing to market herself. I read a passage that detailed a 'spat' between her and Aguilera.
Actually 'spat' is too strong a word.
Someone compared Lady Gaga's look to that of Christina Aguilera and when Christina was asked about it she had bitchy things to say like 'who is that? I don't even know if that's a man or a woman'
But Lady Gaga was given the opportunity to respond to this and she only stated how great it was for her to be compared to Christina Aguilera and she emphasized that the exposure would help her career and therefore how could she be upset?
I'm paraphrasing a little bit of course.
And her spirit seems to have more in common with Madonna than Britney ever did. I mean it's pretty obvious that Britney is just a dumb singer with just enough sense to realize a Madonna comparison might sell her some records.
Lady Gaga on the other hand seems to my mind to be more of a true kindred spirit to Madonna. Not just in terms of her professional attitude but also maybe talent as well.
I'm looking forward to great things from Lady Gaga in the future.

i wish I knew the specifics of this collaboration because it does wonders for her own visibility... maybe not so much for him.
she's the only white person, and a very noticeable white person at that. I think she's a better rapper than this guy anyways which is kinda sad. She's in the background of his closeup shots and the way the shot is framed just pushes all the attention on her AGAIN.
I guess it worked out for him since I probably never would've clicked the link if it didn't have Lady Gaga in the title, but I can't help noticing that Lady Gaga turned this music video into WAY more than a typical backing vocals sort of appearance. I've seen other big stars, shit Mariah Carey even, who didn't have as much presence in their own music video.
